I fail at real life.

I can’t wait for school to start again. Of course, once school starts again, I can’t wait for a break. But! Compared to a ‘real’ job and what not, I prefer school. I like having the option of sleeping in or just skipping class without major repercussions. I mean, there are repercussions to missing class, especially if the professor takes attendance, but most of the time its something I can handle, such as just looking over the material myself or what not. And I always make sure not to miss class when I have an exam, quiz, assignment due, etc. With a job, you can’t just decide you don’t want to go and sleep in.

Also, unless your seriously hardcore, you do not have classes from 6:30am – 7:30pm. nonstop. With only a 20 minute lunch break. Welcome to my workday. I like taking breaks. Plus, by the time I’m home, I’m too exhausted to really do anything else. I mean, working and making money is definitely nice, because you need money to do stuffs, but kicking back and being lazy is nice too. :P

DS lite theme and iPod Shuffle

I asked my genius artsy friend Diana to draw/design me a theme for my new ds lite.

dslite_01.jpg
She’s a genius. I love it. It’s so cute! It’s actually pink, and there’s a fancy fading light-checkered background. The 3 animals on the bottom are actually buttons. I took the picture with my cell phone, so the quality sucks, so it doesnt do it actual justice.

And. My wonderful boyfriend got me an ipod shuffle. True I already had a 1gb mp3 player, but the shuffles are just so cute. And I’m spastic and dislike listening to the same songs in the same order every single time, so I’m actually glad the shuffle doesn’t have a screen.

Once again, horrible picture quality because I used my cell phone. It’s so cute! I adore the color too.

He got me the blue ‘marshmallow’ earphones to match. I love them because they have nice sound quality, good price, and totally block-out surrounding sounds. ;P

hehe wow it’s like an early Christmas / birthday for me. It makes up for the ugh 13-14 hours a day I work. awww sweetie’s so sweet to me. hehee. Thanksss!!~

My very own ds lite <3

For everyone who thinks I’ve had a ds lite for the past few months – No, I don’t. It belongs to a friend who was very nice and let me borrow it for a long long time.

And today, my lovely lovely boyfriend surprised me with a ds lite and accessories.

01.jpg
A black ds lite, a 3in1 charger, and Hori 5-piece screen protector (the best brand out there for ds screen protectors)

02.jpg
The cute bag it all came in (teehee diseased polka-dotted horsie. And the fox-looking thing is cute too.)

03.jpg
The nice case I wanted for the ds lite and a cute lil rubbery Pooh-cow strap (rubbery so it doesnt scratch anything).

hehe yeyyy!!! Finally my very own ds lite all thanks to my bestest boyfriend ever that I love soooooooo much. (Yeah I’ve wanted one for a long long time but didn’t have the extra money to spend on one.) -continues gushing and hyperventilating-

Welcome to the Technology Age

There are a lot of kick ass pieces of technology out there. The ones below are a few I really want and will eventually get (hopefully by the end of this year). School makes me so poor.

[1] Nintendo DS lite
It’s so much fun. Fun in a tiny portable cute box with touch screen.

[2] Sony Ericsson S500i

It looks so cool. There’s lights on the side that light up in pretty colors when there’s an incoming call too! Not to mention it has all the basic jazz of modern day phones: 2mp camera, memory card slot, etc.

My Samsung d807 from Cingular (er.. AT&T now) has been having issues. My first d807, occasionally when someone was calling me, would randomly shut off and turn back on. Then the person who was calling would receive an error message like “The number you are trying to call is no longer in service.” um… wtf? So I called in, they were very nice, it was within 1 year, and I warrantied the phone. They gave me the choice of another phone or the same one, and I chose the same one. Working great, then a few days ago, same problem again. So now I’m thinking (or rather, boyfriend suggested) I call in again, get one of the other phones, sell it on ebay. Then use that money to buy the Sony Ericsson S500i because it is within an affordable price range.
